Pocong

A pocong is a Malaysian/ Indonesian ghost that is said to be the soul of a dead person trapped in their suit. The pocong suit (shroud) is used by Muslims to cover the body of the dead person. They cover the dead body with white fabric called mori and tie the clothing over the head, under the feet, and on the neck. According to the native beliefs, the soul of a dead person will stay on the earth for 40 days after the death. When the ties aren’t released after 40 days, the body is said to jump out from the grave to warn people that the soul need the bonds to be released. After the ties are released, the soul will leave the earth and never show up anymore.

There is a fallacy stated that this ghost is come from one generation.  For those who are friends of the dead will be visited frequently.  The issue raises here how far this statement is true.  Being a normal political being, it is a norm to hear stories from friends and relatives. For a reasonable man, it is hard to believe as there is no black and white proof. This intangible God’s creature appears for a purpose.

So, one peaceful midnight, I decided to take a ride with my brother to buy a pack of cigarette. With a camera, an idea suddenly crosses my mind to test how true this creature exists.  We took a ride to a few places which are believed to be haunted around my neighborhood.  We took snaps hoping that something paranormal activities out there which could be recorded.  It seemed like everything looked  normal to us not until we transferred those photos to the desktop.  We found out there is something unusual about this photo. It is situated a distance from my house.

As u can see, there are banana trees and we realized there was a white tall image standing just next to the tree. (check inside the red circle)  There was something glowing in the dark which was taller if you tired to compare to the tree. It did not make sense to us but we have to accept it. As far as we know; the land is quite narrow from geographical aspects.

I believe we are sharing this world and there are lots of mysteries that cannot be answered.

Focus in that red circle!!

This is another original copy of video took by my friends which certainly proof the existence of pocong. I’m sure after watching this video, it is hard to denied the existence.

What is a so called PTC site?

Ok, first of all some words about PTC sites in general. A PTC site is an online service where you get Paid TClick. On such a site different advertisements will be shown, which you, the PTC site member, have to click and watch for some seconds. After the time frame is over, usually around 10 to 30 seconds, you get paid. Not much, only some cents for each ad, but it adds up the more ads you click, especially on a daily basis.

Most times you can also earn from members you have referred to a PTC site. Say you have invited your friend to join a PTC like NeoBux for example, whenever he/she clicks an ad, you’ll get paid too. Imagine the income potential with with many referrals…!

The No 1 PTC site that i mention is NEOBUX

What is NeoBux? What can you earn?

What you can expect from joining NeoBux

So, NeoBux may look like any other PTC site that’s around the net today. But, by looking further into the details, NeoBux looks very professional and has some fresh and nice new features.

As a standard member on NeoBux you will earn at least $0.01 per ad ($0.015 for extended view), the same goes for having a golden mebership, except you’ll earn $0.02 for an extended ad view. Compared to other PTC’s, this is a common amount of money that is paid for viewing a single ad.

You can also earn from members you have referred to this site. For each referrals ad click, you’ll get $0.005. If you have the golden membership, you will earn $0.01 plus 10% of all the purchases made by your refs. Especially those 10% can bring you a decent amount of money. With my 220 referrals I make around $5 from these 10% alone, sometimes over $10 per day! But please notice that you have to click at least 4 ads per day (9 ads as a golden member) in order to receive the full amount of clicks all your referrals do each day! you can withdraw your earnings instantly to your PayPal, AlertPay & Neteller!! i mean INSTANTLY!!!

Let me give you an example of possible earnings. If you have a Golden membership where you click 10 ads a day and you also directly refer 150 active members who only click an average of 3 ads a day:

TANGKAK: A father and two sons were burnt to death and another son died in hospital after their van crashed with another vehicle and burst into flames late Saturday.

The deceased are Ong Duu Siong, 46, and his sons Zhen Suai, seven, Zhen Zhee, four, and three-year-old Zhen Jie.

Ledang police chief Supt Harun Idris said the incident happened when a Singapore-registered car was about to enter a compound of a house near Parit Bunga at about 11.30pm.

He said the family from Muar was heading for Tangkak and had been following behind the Singapore-registered car when an on-coming vehicle crashed into their van.

He said the on-coming vehicle was trying to avoid hitting the Singapore-registered car but crashed against the van, which later skidded and burst in flames.

“We rushed a team, headed by investigation officer Insp Sayuti Ahmad to the scene to check the crash while firemen from Tangkak arrived to control the fire.

“The father was partly burnt but the sons were charred beyond recognition,” he said, adding that all their identification documents were also burnt.

Supt Harun said the man’s wife Tan Yee King and her youngest son Ong Zhen Li, aged about one were rushed to the Sultanah Fatimah Specialist Hospital.

The police have detained the driver of the Singapore-registered car to assist in the investigation.

Meanwhile, relatives who gathered at the hospital asked reporters not to speak to Tan as she was still traumatised.

A Hospital spokesman said the woman, who was holding her youngest baby boy, was still unstable and needed emergency treatment.

LAGOS, Nigeria – As a member of an uppercrust Nigerian family, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab received the best schooling, from the elite British International School in West Africa to the vaunted University College London.

But the education he wanted was of a different sort: Nigerian officials say his interest in extremist Islam prompted his father to warn U.S. authorities. As Abdulmutallab was being escorted in handcuffs off the Detroit-bound airliner he attempted to blow up on Christmas Day, he told U.S. officials that he had sought an extremist education at an Islamist hotbed in Yemen.

A portrait emerged Sunday of a serious young man who led a privileged life as the son of a prominent banker, but became estranged from his family as an adult. Devoutly religious, he was nicknamed “The Pope” for his sainty aura and gave few clues in his youth that he would turn radical, friends and family said.

“In all the time I taught him we never had cross words,” said Michael Rimmer, a Briton who taught history at the British International School in Lome, Togo. “Somewhere along the line he must have met some sort of fanatics, and they must have turned his mind.”

Abdulmutallab has been charged with trying to destroy a Northwest flight on Christmas Day with 278 passengers and 11 crew members on board. The detonator on his explosive apparently malfunctioned and he was subdued by other passengers.

Through an official, Abdulmutallab’s father “expressed deep shock and regret over his son’s actions.”

His family home sits in the city of Funtua, in the heart of Nigeria’s Islamic culture. Religion figured into the family’s life: His father, Alhaji Umar Mutallab, who had a successful career in commercial banking, also joined the board of an Islamic bank — one that avoids the kind of interest payments banned by the Quran.

The large house, surrounded by a wall and a metal fence just off the main road running through the city, stood empty, a common occurrence for a jet-set family that sought an education abroad for Abdulmutallab. Family members told The Associated Press they could not comment but expected the family to issue a statement.

Mutallab was working with the FBI and not expected to grant media interviews, Information Minister Dora Akunyili said.

The elder Mutallab was “a responsible and respected Nigerian, with a true Nigerian spirit,” she said. He had been estranged from his son for several months and alerted U.S. officials last month about the youth’s growing hard-line Islamic religious beliefs.

A close neighbor told the AP he believed Abdulmutallab did not get his extremist ideas from his family or from within Nigeria.

Basiru Sani Hamza, 35, said Abdulmutallab was a “very religious” and a “very obedient” to his parents as a boy in the well-to-do banking family.

“I believe he must have been lured where he is schooling to carry out this attack,” Hamza said. “Really, the boy has betrayed his father because he has been taking care of all their needs.”

Rimmer, a teacher at his high school in West Africa, said Abdulmutallab had been well-respected.

“At one stage, his nickname was ‘The Pope,’” Rimmer said from London in a telephone interview. “In one way it’s totally unsuitable because he’s Muslim, but he did have this saintly aura.”

But Abdulmutallab also showed signs of inflexibility, Rimmer said.

In a discussion in 2001, Abdulmutallab was the only one to defend the actions of the Taliban in Afghanistan, Rimmer said. At the time, Rimmer thought the boy was just playing the devil’s advocate.

He also noted that during a school trip to London, Abdulmutallab became upset when the teacher took students to a pub and said it wasn’t right to be in a place where alcohol was served.

Rimmer also remembered the youngster choosing to give 50 pounds to an orphanage rather than spend it on souvenirs in London.

Rimmer described the institution — an elite college preparatory school, attended by children of diplomats and wealthy Africans — as “lovely, lovely environment” where Christians often joined in Islamic feasts and where some of the best Christmas carolers were Muslims.

Abdulmutallab showed no signs of intolerance toward other students, Rimmer said, explaining that “lots of his mates were Christians.”

The Briton noted that he has not seen or heard from his former pupil since 2003 when he was still a teenager.

Students at his prestigious university in London, where Abdulmutallab lived in a smart white stone apartment block in an exclusive area of central London, said Abdulmutallab showed no signs of radicalization and painted him as a lax student with deep religious views.

“We worked on projects together,” Fabrizio Cavallo Marincola, a 22-year-old mechanical engineering student at University College, told The Independent newspaper. “He always did the bare minimum of work and would just show up to classes. When we were studying, he always would go off to pray.

“He was pretty quiet and didn’t socialize much or have a girlfriend that I knew of. I didn’t get to talk to him much on a personal level. I was really shocked when I saw the reports. You would never imagine him pulling off something like this.”

Marincola declined further comment when contacted by the AP.

NEW YORK – It was a memorable and merry Christmas in Hollywood as moviegoers shattered box-office records, responding in droves to a diverse array of high-profile releases over the holiday weekend.

The estimated $278 million in weekend box-office revenue broke the previous record of roughly $253 million set in July 2008, the weekend “The Dark Knight” was released.

A diverse group of films drew throngs to the multiplexes: James Cameron’s “Avatar” pushed strongly into its second week while “Sherlock Holmes,” “Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel” and “It’s Complicated” all opened.

“Avatar,” the 3-D epic, topped them all, earning $75 million for 20th Century Fox, according to studio estimates Sunday. Remarkably, that was only a 3 percent drop from its opening weekend total of $77.4 million. (Blockbusters typically drop 30-50 percent in the second weekend.) In its 10 days of release, “Avatar” has made $212 million domestically — and could be on its way to a worldwide gross of over $1 billion.

“This thing is going to be playing and playing, I can tell you that,” said Bert Livingston, 20th Century Fox distribution executive. “There’s a lot of business out there. Everybody’s got good movies out.”

In second was “Sherlock Holmes,” Guy Ritchie’s reboot of the franchise with Robert Downey Jr. starring as Arthur Conan Doyle’s detective. The Warner Bros. film opened with a weekend total of $65.4 million, including a record Christmas Day debut of $24.9 million.

It was a start that seemed sure to pave the way for sequels. Dan Fellman, head of distribution for Warner Bros., called the result “sensational.”

“Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel,” which opened Wednesday, took in $50.2 million on the weekend and $77.1 million in its five days of release. The film, also from Fox, earned an impressive $18.8 million on Wednesday alone. The strong start suggested that “Squeakquel” was likely to surpass its 2007 original, which made $217 million.

Also opening was Nancy Meyer’s “It’s Complicated,” the romantic comedy starring Meryl Streep, Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin. With an audience 72 percent female, the Universal film took in $22.1 million, a solid debut.

The sparkling Christmas weekend results spelled good things for all the films in release in the coming week — one of the most lucrative of the year.

“We all know what next week means to the industry. This is … huge,” said Nikki Rocco, head of distribution for Universal. “Christmas is past us. No more shopping, no more returning. College kids are home. … I’m so optimistic about what the next weekend holds for us.”

Said Livingston: “Starting this Monday, every day is a Saturday.”

Two films with Oscar aspirations also released wide over the weekend: Jason Reitman’s “Up in the Air” (Paramount) and Rob Marshall’s “Nine” (Weinstein Co.).

“Up in the Air,” which has some of the best awards momentum, grossed $11.8 million, bringing its cumulative total to $24.5 million — already nearly earning back its production budget.

“For us, this movie was always the movie that we felt was going to be a real focus during the awards season,” said Rob Moore, Paramount vice chairman. “It feels like this should have a long run as awards season continues.”

“Nine,” the adaptation of the Broadway musical (which itself was a riff of Federico Fellini’s classic film “8 1/2″) earned $5.5 million in 1408 theaters.

“It’s an absolutely fitting end to the biggest box office year of all time,” said Paul Dergarabedian, box-office analyst for Hollywood.com. “It’s just been a total roller coaster ride. It’s like audience members are on board.”

2009 still has several days to go, but the year is already a record for domestic ticket sales with more than $10 billion at the box office. That surpassed the $9.7 billion mark of 2007.

While some of the credit has to go the recession (movies historically do well in hard times when a trip to the movie theater is a relatively cheap form of entertainment and escapism), there was a feeling Sunday that Hollywood had put forth a better product this Christmas.

“People say it’s the recession,” said Dergarabedian. “It’s the movies — it’s really the movies. It seems like when people aren’t at home, they’re at the movies.”

He added: “You’re going to find a smile on the face of every studio chief out there today.”

Hollywood also seemed to be offering good ol’ spectacle to moviegoers. “Avatar” grossed $8.8 million in IMAX theaters, actually increasing from its opening weekend. IMAX chairman and president Greg Foster said they were operating essentially at capacity.

“There is no context,” said Foster. “It’s so far beyond where we’ve ever been. It’s not eking past a record, it’s shattering it.”

Christmas weekend was also neatly organized around various demographics. There was science-fiction, romantic comedy, family fare, action-packed thriller and serious awards-contender.

“That’s what fueled this Christmas, the diversity of the films,” said Dergarabedian. “It was like a cinematic buffet line. If you can’t find a movie that you like in the marketplace right now, you don’t like movies.”

Estimated ticket sales for Friday through Sunday at U.S. and Canadian theaters, according to Hollywood.com. Final figures will be released Monday.

1. “Avatar,” $75 million.

2. “Sherlock Holmes,” $65.4 million.

3. “Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel,” $50.2 million.

4. “It’s Complicated,” $22.1 million.

5. “Up in the Air,” $11.8 million.

6. “The Blind Side,” $11.7 million.

7. “The Princess and the Frog,” $8.7 million.

8. “Nine,” $5.5 million.

9. “Did You Hear About the Morgans?” $5 million.

10. “Invictus,” $4.4 million.

WASHINGTON – A Nigerian passenger onboard the same Northwest Airlines route that was attacked on Christmas Day was taken into custody in Detroit on Sunday after locking himself in the bathroom for an hour and becoming verbally disruptive upon landing, officials said.

The latest disturbance aboard Northwest Airlines Flight 253 came as the U.S. system for checking suspicious travelers and airport security came under new scrutiny, prompted by an alleged terrorist bent on destroying a jetliner who was thwarted only by a malfunctioning detonator and some quick-thinking passengers.

Delta Air Lines spokeswoman Susan Elliott said crew members on Sunday requested that security remove the man from Flight 253 after he became disruptive. The remaining 255 passengers got off safely, she said.

A law enforcement official said the man was Nigerian and had locked himself in the airliner’s bathroom. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because the investigation was ongoing.

An apparent malfunction in a device designed to detonate the high explosive PETN may have been all that saved the 278 passengers and the crew aboard Northwest Flight 253 on Christmas Day. No undercover air marshal was on board and passengers subdued the suspect, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, 23, of Nigeria.

Abdulmutallab was hospitalized with burns from the attack and was read an indictment filed Saturday in federal court in Detroit charging him with attempting to destroy or wreck an aircraft and placing a destructive device in a plane. He was released from the hospital Sunday to the custody of federal marshals, who would not reveal where he was being held.

Abdulmutallab was on a watch list, but not one that denied him passage by air into the U.S. His own father had discussed concerns about his radical religious views before the attack.

Still, in appearances on Sunday talk shows, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said the traveling public “is very, very safe.”

“This was one individual literally of thousands that fly and thousands of flights every year,” Napolitano said. “And he was stopped before any damage could be done. I think the important thing to recognize here is that once this incident occurred, everything happened that should have.”

Even so, airport security and intelligence played no role in thwarting the plot. Abdulmutallab was carrying PETN, also known as pentaerythritol, the same material convicted shoe bomber Richard Reid used when he tried to destroy a trans-Atlantic flight in 2001 with explosives hidden in his shoes. Abdulmutallab is alleged to have carried the explosive in condom-like pouches attached to his body.

Abdulmutallab was on a “generic” terrorist watch list, which includes more than half a million names, but was not elevated to a no-fly list or even designated for additional security searches, Napolitano said. That would have required “specific, credible, derogatory information,” she said.

“We did not have the kind of information that under the current rules would elevate him,” she said.

Napolitano said the Obama administration is considering changing those rules.

Despite being on the broad terrorist watch list, Abdulmutallab, who comes from a prominent and wealthy Nigerian family, had a multiple-entry U.S. visa. It was issued last year. U.S. officials say he came to the attention of America intelligence in November, when his father expressed concerns to the U.S. Embassy in Nigeria about his son’s extremist views.

Napolitano said Abdulmutallab was properly screened before getting on the flight to Detroit from Amsterdam.

The administration is also investigating aviation detection systems to see how the alleged attacker managed to get on board the Northwest flight in Amsterdam with explosive materials, White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said.

No other flights were known to have been targeted. However, Gibbs says federal authorities took precautionary steps “to assume and plan for the very worst.” Napolitano said there is no indication yet Abdulmutallab is part of a larger terrorist plot, although his possible ties to al-Qaida are still under investigation.

The United States is reviewing what security measures were used in Amsterdam where he boarded the flight.

“Now the forensics are being analyzed with what could have been done,” Napolitano said.

Additional security measures are in place at airports around the world that are likely to slow travelers. Napolitano advised getting to airports earlier.

Congress is preparing to hold hearings on what happened and whether rules need to be changed.

“It’s amazing to me that an individual like this who was sending out so many signals could end up getting on a plane going to the U.S.,” said Sen. Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., the Republican leader in the Senate.

Gibbs appeared on ABC’s “This Week,” NBC’s “Meet the Press” and CBS’ “Face the Nation.” Napolitano spoke on CNN’s “State of the Union” as well as on NBC and ABC. McConnell appeared on ABC.
